He starts by taking a look back on Whitney’s life as the church-going daughter of Gospel legend, Cissy Houston, in Newark. He also dissects her introduction to drugs at an early age, how she and Robyn came to be and why race played such a massive role in her introduction as the worlds first black, female pop icon.
