Dan was born on March 2, 1953, on Samson Air Force Base, New York. Though he engaged in various athletic endeavors in his youth, he is most noted for his being awarded High School Water Polo All American honors, twice, in both 1969 and 1970 from his play with the New York Athletic Club's Men's First Team. In 1972, he was awarded Junior College All California honors in Water Polo from his play with the Mt. San Antonio Junior College's Men's First Team.
He graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD), (December 1985), completing two four year BA degrees in three years, with high honors; one in Political Science and the other in Business Management. Just before he graduated from UCD, the US Central Intelligence Agency requested that he tutor both, the Finance Minister of China and the Undersecretary of Defense of China, then, Xi Jinping, on whether China should engage in international business and, how they should go about engaging in international business, which he did. His actions in this mission proved so successful that he was offered a position as a top analyst on the most prestigious think tank for the US clandestine services, then, which he promptly turned down because it required him to sign a secrecy agreement, which he refused to do.
From August 1996 to November 2013, he worked as a contract paralegal for the US Central Intelligence Agency (the CIA), though he never signed a secrecy agreement with them. He never lost a case for the CIA, though he was only assigned the most difficult cases that no other agent could solve, that was imperative for the US to win. He is well known, even today, in the CIA as one of the top legal researches and legal writers in the US.
From January 2014 to the present, he has been independently inventing “over-unity” generators, motors, and engines. He currently holds six provisional patents for such inventions.
