Hoy es maestro en la Escuela Luis Llorens Torres de Juana Diaz. Julio es líder comunitario comprometido con su comunidad, cultura y tradiciones, parte del Comité Pro Nuestra Cultura y parte de los coordinadores del Festival AfroCaribeño.
