Sin City was a ground breaking movie released in 2005 and brought the stories to screen like no comic book had been before!
Sin City was a series of stories written by Frank Miller and published by Dark Horse comics, starting in 1991. Frank Miller had come to prominence in the early 1980's with the Daredevil book and left an influential stamp on his character that can be seen today. He also wrote Dark Knight Returns, which is widely regarded as one of Batman's best stories. Miller's crime and noir style could be seen in these mainstream comics, but with Sin City he takes that to a new level.
The movie was primarily championed by Robert Rodriguez, who convinced Miller and also Quentin Tarantino to join him in this project to bring Sin City to the big screen. We discuss what we thought of the movie, and how it holds up years later.
