Welcome you lovely listeners to your Old Time Radio episode. Today I tackled two particularly difficult old time radio classics, from the Crime Classics OTR Series – The Aslop Family is your first, and Your Loving Son Nero your second. This series mates, hoho, they are difficult. They have random pops and clicks like nobodies business – and in the first episode the audio literally stops…and restarts the entire episode…I had to listen to it three time’s at that point to make sure I wasn’t going crazy.

So whilst I’m slicing out pops and clicks like a man pulling cards out of a deck of aces, this crazy occurrence with doubling audio popped up and took me by surprise. The first time an OTR had the guile to pull a sneak attack on me. Both of course have been remastered, with the second episode requiring some significant bass returning, but other than that…pretty on point when it came to quality.
