This week, the Dope Black Women are joined by fellow DBW - Social Media Consultant and Podcaster, Pilar Nalwimba. Pilar previously worked on social media accounts for ITV and Love Island and currently hosts the Reality Tea Podcast. As a group they discuss the representation of black people on reality TV in general, whether reality TV shows stereotype black people and why certain reality shows are so obsessed with the character of the angry black women. They also discuss the most important question about the most popular reality show on at the moment: is the UK ready for a black couple to win Love Island?
