Ep83: Sharyn and Tyson - Recurrent Miscarriages, Septum in Uterus, Placenta Previa, General Anaesthetic C Section

In Episode 83 of Kiwi Birth Tales I speak with Sharyn Casey about her pregnancies and birth story. 

Sharyn takes us through the devastation of recurrent miscarriages, eventually finding out that she had a septum in her uterus causing issues that were resulting in miscarriage. Once that was removed they fell pregnant with Tyson and due to Placenta Previa had a planned C Section at 38 weeks. 

The C Section ended up being under General Anaesthetic and Sharyn takes us through what that experience was like, mourning for the loss of that moment she should have had with Bryce when meeting Tyson and their journey in hospital. 

Sharyn then talks through their journey bringing Tyson home, what no one told her about having a baby and their breastfeeding journey.
