Taking things back to the Denver Broncos historic season in 2015. Cody Roark and Zach Segars recap Weeks 4-6 for the Broncos in 2015.
Entering Week 4, the Broncos were 3-0 and hosting the Minnesota Vikings who were led by Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson. The Broncos defense would swarm the Vikings offense in this game, but somehow Minnesota would make things interesting to the very end.
After a 4-0 start, the Broncos would travel to Oakland to take on the division rival Raiders. The Broncos defense would trade punches with the Derek Carr led offense against Michael Crabtree, and Amari Cooper as Peyton Manning faced one of his favorite foes in Charles Woodson. The Broncos defense would secure the victory for Denver at a pivotal moment.
The Broncos would travel to Cleveland in Week 5 to take on the Browns at the Dawg Pound. The Broncos offense would struggle in the passing game, but luckily Denver was able to get the rushing game going with Ronnie Hillman and CJ Anderson. The Broncos defense would be forced to survive without Demarcus Ware who left with a back injury in this game. How did the Broncos pull off the nailbiter?
We will continue to break down the 2015 season in our time machine over the next two weeks.
