Episode 47: Melissa A. Fabello is a sexuality educator, body image and eating disorder activist, and media literacy vlogger based out of Philadelphia, PA. She is a Managing Editor of Everyday Feminism and a PhD student in Human Sexuality Studies, where her research interest is in the effectiveness of current sexuality-focused psychoeducational interventions in eating disorder recovery programs.
Why am I so ridiculously excited to release this episode?
Most of all because Melissa is an incredibly smart woman. She researches. She experiences. She's open-minded, but at the same time, she firmly stands for what she believes in.
There are certain people I interview that I want on the show simply because they are awesome, but the conversation doesn't flow as well because they don't have mind-blowing things to say. That is not the case for this episode. I had a ton of questions to ask her that came from my own heart- things I've been dying to understand.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I do!
