Matt Lombardi and Kevin Moran - Former Pro Athletes Discuss the Benefits of CBD
If you're like many people, you're probably curious about the recent explosion of CBD products inundating the market place. The human body's innate cannabinoid system helps regulate many functions including appetite, mood, sleep and pain. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psycho-active component of the hemp plant that interacts with the body's receptors to help promote sleep and suppress pain - both of which are important during the post-exercise recovery process.
Matt Lombardi and Kevin Moran both played division 1 college hockey and baseball, respectfully, and each spent time at the professional level. Fast forward a few years and now they enjoy challenging themselves with marathons, triathlons and high-intensity workouts. While training for the Boston Marathon, Matt and Kevin learned about the benefits of CBD and as a result started BEAM, a company that makes a variety of CBD products to support recovery from exercise.
