As we wrap up the series on The Trinity, we discuss a few questions submitted over the last three weeks.  Is there a proper way to pray in regards to the Trinity? Dear Father; Dear Lord, Dear Jesus? Who do I really pray to? Why the sequence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit since they are one? How can you explain the Trinity in a way that kids can understand?

●     [2:55]            All prayer should be directed to our Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible allows for prayer to one or all three, because all three are one. 

●     [4:43]            Perhaps the best way to understand the role of the Trinity in prayer is that we pray to the Father, through (or in the name of) the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. All three are active participants in the believer’s prayer.

●     [7:36]            Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”.  That was the order Jesus used so we have adopted that order.

●     [13:06]          Illustrations like an apple, an egg, water, or the shamrock are very limiting. Because God is the Creator and everything else is creation, there is not going to be anything in our experience that is exactly like God. 

●     [18:56]         There are three persons, each person is God, each person is distinct, and there’s only one God.
