A New Strategy for DCIS with M. Nathaniel Mead
M. Nathaniel Mead earned his Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. He also has undergraduate degrees in Biology and Science Education. Nathaniel has an extensive background as a holistic nutritionist, medical writer, and integrative cancer coach. His professional experience includes work as a personal nutrition coach and research consultant for five integrative medicine clinics. Nathaniel has been an editor for the peer-reviewed journal Integrative Cancer Therapies. He also has 15 years of experience as a research associate for the Block Center for Integrative Cancer Treatment in Illinois.
In this episode, Nathaniel speaks about DCIS and the continuous overtreatment of the disease. Additionally, he shares his view on a New Strategy for the Prevention and Monitoring of DCIS.
