In Episode 116 host Natasha Pearl Hansen (@nphcomedy) continues the Black Lives Matter series interviewing her family about their lives, systemic racism, and sharing some hilarious anecdotes along the way. Raymond Batts (@mrbatts_da_corp_man) is an incredibly impactful businessman who continues to create jobs and resources in the southside of Chicago in underprivileged, predominantly black communities while educating citizens on fixing credit, building wealth, and becoming property owners. Ray and Natasha recount family stories, talk about continuing education and rising above gang violence and ways that change can occur to help break the cycle of systemic racism, especially in major cities. He mentions local organizations such as RAGE Englewood (@rage_englewood) and Union Impact Center (@unionimpactcenter) who's efforts continue to make Chicagoland a better place to live for all races and classes.
