Jemar Tisby is a historian and the author of New York Times bestseller The Color of Compromise. He serves as president of The Witness, a Black Christian Collective, and is working on his PhD dissertation at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Mary McCampbell is an associate professor of humanities at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she teaches courses on postmodern theory and fiction, film and philosophy, and popular culture.
