Being a stepparent is very difficult and comes with a unique set of challenges. Most of the time, the child can form a good bond with their stepparent, but as I'm sure we are all aware, it doesn’t always work out this way and in extreme circumstances, the relationship turns abusive. Trigger warning, we will be talking about the sexual abuse as we uncover the unsolved disappearance of Mary Duncan.
