On Saturday the 10th September 1983, Janice Weston spent the day shopping, carrying out errands and working in the Notting Hill area of London. Janice was a successful solicitor and her friends described her as ambitious with a wide circle of friends. On Sunday the 11th September, a cyclist travelling along the A1 motorway near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire stopped at a lay-by on the side of the road.
