E65: A Bridge Home Opens In San Pedro w/ Amber Sheikh-Ginsberg & Lee Williams
Hi Friends! I'm out of town this week but no worries, I promise you'll love my amazing co-hosts subbing in for me.
Amber Sheikh-Ginsberg, an LA based non-profit consultant who has years of experience working with and advocating for our homeless community, sits down with (virtually) Lee Williams, the Board of Directors Chairman for the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce. In their conversation they give the community important updates about the new Bridge Home that has just opened here in San Pedro, how it will function, and the safety measures being taken to protect the new residents during this pandemic.
This has been long process, at times an uphill battle, that has often been met with some resistance among local residents. It's here now, ready to be of much needed service to our homeless community members. Check out the links below for a video tour and where to donate resources.
Big thank you to Amber and Lee for this amazing podcast takeover! I couldn't have asked a better dynamic duo to fill in while I'm away.
