Welcome back, Guys!
Mariano here again. After taking some time last episode to thank all of our amazing listeners we figured we'd dive right back into work with another deep-dive into the world of dog training. This week's topic is..... Dominance!
Now, Brent and I are fully aware of just how touchy of a topic this is. As well as how complex and misconstrued it tends to be. This is exactly why we've decided to take a crack at it. In this episode, we look into what the public perception of dominance is, as well as the technical definition of it as to show just how far pop-culture has taken the term. We then do our best to describe dominance, and it's relevance to dog training.
Mix this in with some tips and examples of good practices for an adequate understanding. As well as some examples of bad practices and what you should avoid. Some insightful stories from both of us and you've got what may be our personal favorite episode to date! Thanks for listening!
P.s. Defining and describing dominance is NOT an easy task! with that in mind, we'll be revisiting this in the future with supplemental information that we think would be helpful for you all. Therefore, I'd like to ask you to please send any questions or feedback regarding this episode to us. You can do this by reaching out to us on any of our major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) or via email. I'll have all of the contact info listed below.
