Never in my life did I think that a story about the Frozen movies would bring me to tears on the podcast. Then again I hadn't met Andrew Coopman. I cannot express in written words how much this interview moved me this week. Andrew is one of those souls that just bursts with joy and wisdom and I am honored to have been in his (online) presence to absorb some of it. Many of you have been asking "What is life going to look like after this? I've devoted my life to this industry... and I have no idea what's going to happen to it." If you've thought that in the last few months, then I cannot stress this enough; this is the episode you NEED to listen to. A little bit about Andrew: Andrew Coopman (he/him/they/them) is a Seattle based Director and choreographer, who is interested in art that celebrates individuality, intersectionality, and community while amplifying and illuminating the narratives and voices of the unheard. As a queer, multicultural artist, he is interested in the diversity of voices and stories throughout the world and how they can bring us closer together, even when we feel the most far apart. Andrew is currently in their final year of the MFA in Directing program at University of Washington School of Drama.
