Many of you heard the news about Jean Vanier, founder of L’Arche International and one of my own lifetime spiritual heroes, when it came to light in February that he had sexually abused multiple women under his care as their spiritual director. This was not like Harvey Weinstein -- Vanier was a world-renowned spiritual leader and thinker; he was on his way to sainthood.
