Episode 16 - ZERO PREP IMPROV EXERCISE To Improve Roleplay In Your TTRPG or Dungeons And Dragons Game
In today's episode we talk about a fun, easy and system agnostic exercise you can play with your gaming group. Heavily inspired by the structure of the French Canadian "Ligue Nationale d'Improvisation" improv this simple yet elegant game can provide you a fun alternative to playing #DnD on Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds. It requires little to no preparation and also giving everyone a framework to practice their roleplay and improv. As always, this is the deep dive, where Chris and I take a more unscripted approach.
In the episode we talk about:
- New virtual layout (And this was our first time filming the entire episode in one take!)
- The exercise's structure.
- Benefits of this "scene" format.
- Things to look out for.
- Variants.
- Optional rules.
- Some questions.
- Takeaway
