This is the most personal episode I've done in quite some time. You're going to learn about how I got to the place that I can do this podcast. I'm going to thank people who never listen to this show. They kept me alive long enough to be able to do it.
I'm going to talk to someone from deep in my past about the difference I made. That's something we rarely get to hear, and something teachers need to hear more frequently. Teachers and students, I believe Robert speaks to many of you and for many others. He's a voice I'm honored to have added to this show.
You're going to hear some poetry read by Jenner Zeno who leads this extraordinary conversation about the value of Art in Education. He will both open and close the main portion of the episode.
