#98 Homeowner Hell of a Home - We chat with a client and what he went through with an established custom builder

We have a homeowner on the show telling us about his experience with a custom builder that wasn’t a very good contractor. You don’t want to miss this show as we focus on what Mark went through but even better what Mark learned during this whole ordeal that is still going on, he is still paying tuition on that education.

We start the show with History with Manny and then our new segment, Construction Bone To Pick with and we go after tradespeople damaging others tools and employees and sub trades making mistakes with material, who is to blame and who ends up paying for it?

Mark gets right into his renovation nightmare talking about how the builder he chose were great sales people but bad managers and even worse contractors. It all began with the site awareness and how the builder didn’t take mother nature serious during a second floor addition and not making the site safe.

Then the windows are scheduled to arrive on site while the client was away on vacation, client requested they wait for their return and the contractors said no, well every single was incorrect and installed incorrectly and that was the final straw. Mark and his family still went through even more surprises these “contractors” left behind, he called them the gifts. Or how I like to call it, the education a client goes through where they are still paying tuition.
