Episode 32: Daisy Coleman's Story

Starting high school is daunting for a lot of teenagers, and what most of them want, more than anything, is to fit in and for their peers to accept them. So, when an invitation to party with slightly older and more popular students comes up, for most, it would be a no-brainer. This was certainly the case of two girls back in 2012, who were looking forward to cutting loose with some boys they knew from school. There was absolutely no way they could have foreseen the abuse they would be subjected to that night, and for years to come. Trigger warning, we will be discussing rape, sexual assault and self-harm today as I and Mark from the Survivors Network uncover Daisy Coleman's story.
