If you have the ability to move, then you have the ability to exercise; however, the fitness industry often overlooks a very important population of people who could really benefit from regular exercise, the special needs community. There are many different types of abilities, some people may not be able to communicate verbally while others may not be able to walk or use their limbs, but everyone can still benefit from being physically active. Daniel Stein had to overcome his own challenges and found that playing sports and exercising really allowed him to fully engage with life. In fact, fitness made such an important impact on him that he earned a personal trainer certification so that he could share his passion with others. However, even though he achieved a level of success, he still didn't feel fulfilled which is when he was inspired to begin Special Strong and start working specifically with individuals who have special needs. On this episode of All About Fitness, it's a powerful conversation about how fitness really is is for EVERY body.
