Star Wars: Comics In Canon - Ep 22: Chewbacca’s Family, Medal Of Bravery & Secret Mission

This week Mike talks about the 5-issue mini-series starring everyone’s favourite wookiee; Chewbacca! This episode covers Chewie’s time on Andelm 4 (just after A New Hope), details about his family, his “missing” medal from the end of A New Hope & sequel trilogy and more!

All 5 issues of Chewbacca were written by Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto did the art, colouring and covers. Issue 1 was released October 2015, Issue 5 was released December 2015, the trade paperback was released March 2016 and the 3-series collection “Heroes For A New Hope” featuring the Princess Leia, Lando & Chewbacca comics was released in November 2016.
