"...the steam soon revealed a message. She could just make out the finger-scrawled words… “Why did you hurt us?”
A quote from today's first tale. Today we open up with two asylum-related paranormal tales. The first comes from Salem, Oregon - the long, haunted history of the facility once called “The Oregon State Hospital for the Insane,” and a recent encounter. Our second story is the urban legend of the Melon Heads. Disturbing folklore coming primarily from Ohio and Michigan. And then Lynze shares two listener tales that are very hard to rationalize away as being anything other than paranormal.

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."
