Carlo Basile is the artistic director and founder of Las Guitarras de España (The Guitars of Spain). Carlo has produced many “Global music” projects with artists from around world over the past 15 years. Carlo has visited over 30 countries to collect materials for his musical collaborations. He has co-produced 5 CDs and had appeared as a guitar soloist in works at Chicago’s Looking Glass and Goodman Theaters. The Chicago Sun-Times has referred to Carlo as a “masterful guitarist.”
