Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on the south side in Chatham, listening to music of all genres since he could turn the dials on the radio, writing his own raps since he heard his seventh grade teacher spit an original piece, and performing in front of audiences since 2012. Member of the hip hop group J.O.B. under the name Jerm, he also rants on records under a more festive and animated alias Polaroid Boy. Simultaneously embodying all three personas, Marv delivers a growing range of versatility and lyrical content. Radio One Chicago airs live every Thursday night at 6p cst on WLUW-FM, 88.7f or WLUW.ORG
