Ep 67 | What the COVID-19 Pandemic can Teach Us About Our Culture
This week, Zuhdi uses his experience and roles to reflect on the parts of our identity and our nature as Americans at risk in this conflict against COVID-19 as well as other conflicts for our health and security. How much should we be willing to sacrifice? What is the role of culture in determining our responses to crises and what is its impact on our future nature. Dr. Jasser takes some time to also reflect on the beginning of the Muslim holy month of fasting of Ramadan. He also reflects on the one-year anniversary of the anti-Semitic hate crime and shooting against the congregation of Chabad of Poway synagogue on April 27, 2019 which killed Lori Gilbert-Kaye and injured others.
