She taught Greg about existentialism before he even knew he was having an "existential crisis."
Ricki directed Greg in plays and musicals in high school.
He was her Mayor of Who in Seussical, her Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, and when she directed Les Mis Greg's Junior year, Greg played the Master of the House.
Also Greg once wrote a musical number to Catcher in the Rye because of her class. She gave Greg an A.
J.D. Salinger woulda been piiiiiiiissed.....
Ricki Lombardo was a legendary English teacher and theatre director at Dover-Sherborn High School in Dover, Massachusetts for 37 years and she happens to be one of the most naturally gifted communicators and storytellers anyone in that community (parents and students) ever had the chance to encounter.
She changed lives.
And continues to with all her life lessons.
She taught to the heart before the mind. And it shows in this interview.
"Seize the day."
Listen in and she might transform your life, too.
