But it gets a bad rap.

Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up.
It doesn’t mean condoning.
It doesn’t mean settling.
It doesn’t mean trying to convince yourself to LIKE something you don’t like.
Acceptance simply means acknowledging what is REAL, what is TRUE so that you stop fighting with reality and make the changes you want.
