Before you roll your eyes at the 167th time you've heard someone preach to you about this, hear me out. We all KNOW we should get better sleep, yet there's still some type of mental block from making that happen. My guess would be two things: 1) we don't think the negative effects of poor sleep are actually that bad because we don't know *specifically* how much sleep affects our fitness goals. And, 2) we don't have the practical applications to put the dream of "better sleep" into action.
