Angel Bumpass was a single mother of two, living in Louisville, Kentucky, about to enter a nursing program when in 2018, two detectives knocked on her front door.
She was surprised, but even more so when they explained to her why they were there. They were arresting her for the first degree murder of a man who was suffocated during a robbery, a Franklin "Cookie" Bonner, who died during this attempt, in 2009 when Angel was only 13 years old!
Angel claims to have no knowledge of the victim or her co-defendant; she's never been in trouble, outside of an unpaid speeding ticket, so how is this even possible?
Come listen as Debbie Q breaks apart this story, bit by bit, and tries to get to the bottom of a very strange case.
