037 - On the Inside: Incarcerated Women and Storytelling with Nikki Weaver
"It's how you pick your shit up that matters," said Nikki Weaver. From her background of play production, acting, teaching yoga, massage, art, mothering, and voice coaching, Nikki helps people to embody and tell their stories. Specifically, she runs a non-profit to benefit women who are incarcerated. Part of this is connecting women on the outside with women on the inside through art and stories. She believes as we share stories we transform and heal. Her hope is to build partnerships between women inside and outside all over the world.
In this episode, Nikki shares intimate experiences and the way she lost her mother and found her in other women.
