Roshan on BHM: You Can Achieve Anything the White Man an Achieve
For Black History Month, the Dope Black Women will each be taking over the podcast to share the platform with women that they admire to tell their stories. We're kicking off the month with Roshan who is speaking to her Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Together they discuss her Great Grandmother's experience coming to the UK from Jamaica during the Windrush, the similarities and differences in their experiences across the generations being Black in Britain and her family's hope and ambitions for her future and that of the next generation.
The Dope Black Women Podcast is all about bringing black women together to discuss the topics that matter to us, connect and support with each other and through our digital sisterhood.
Your hosts are: Leanne Levers, Roshan Roberts and Olivia Cope.
