This week on Days of Thunder we did something a little different. Instead of your usual run down of the latest episode on Thunder Road, we pulled off that grim highway and went to see a picture show, and what better way to do our first dip into the world of cinema than with the new acclaimed documentary You Cannot Kill David Arquette?
So sit back as Dave and Lee guide you through a man who has been through it all: The terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, he might offend a few of the *blue*-noses with his cocky stride and musky odors. Oh! he'll never be the darling of the so-called "City Fathers" who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about "What's to be done with this David Arquette??"
[SPOILER WARNING: Though it probably goes without saying with a podcast this long reviewing a documentary, and though many of the events portrayed are ones we all know about, be aware there are spoilers for the documentary from the start and throughout. You have been warned!]
We’ll be back in two weeks for our next episode of Thunder, and encourage people to watch the shows along with us and send us any thoughts or memories. You can drop us an email at either daysofthunderpod@gmail.com or wcwthunderpod@gmail.com.
