Some of you have your passion worked out and are busy each day working at it, you’re established, you're busy promoting, you're coaching, hopefully, you’re making money, you’re using social media, some of you are affiliating, and you’re looking for ways to expand, you name it, some of you are doing amazing things. I’ve interviewed a lot of you and I congratulate you all. Many of our members are still working on their idea… creating infrastructure, building social connections, trying to build a following, growing Facebook groups, and don’t have a way yet to get noticed. If that sounds like you, this challenge is for you? Let’s talk about courage and why it’s so important to develop your courage. Courage helps you to begin something because in the beginning there is a lot of uncertainty The scariest moment about getting started is the moment right before you start something, you are on the edge of your comfort zone and it takes courage to jump Courage is the secret sauce that gets you to take action despite your fear Courage help you put aside your fear of failure (which exists in your mind only) Courage helps you overcome a fear of rejection (which doesn’t exist either) Courage allows you to attempt things that you have not done before The fact is... everyone wants to feel courageous! And in this new age of social media and online business, it takes courage to put your ass on the line. In my life, some things helped me to build courage, like Living true to my standards Pursuing a passion with enthusiasm Making progress and showing results Being committed to creating amazing life experiences Another thing that I learned first by understanding intellectually then by doing… my actions always help others to understand who I am and my actions inspired people when I: Took on a personal challenge Pushed through a struggle Saw me putting in the effort Watched and tracked me achieve a goal that I set for myself These kinds of actions inspire people and will support you when you decide to take on a challenge. When you make the deliberate decision to make yourself courageous it requires doing the necessary actions and the right things consistently to create that feeling of courage. That feeling of courage never magically happens without taking some kind of action. Courage is created as a result of doing the right actions. In other words, there is no free lunch when it comes to acquiring courage and the only way to maintain the feeling is to continue to do things like the things that got you there in the first place. That feeling of courage is sometimes referred to as Personal Power. Everyone wants to experience their Power. Personal Power is not power over something or someone, rather, it’s a consciously created personal experience of feeling accomplished, proud, certain, decisive, emotionally strong, and fully capable. You earn the feeling of power and it’s only personal to you. Personal power comes as a result of you following through on a personal commitment, also known as “Honoring your word to yourself.” That’s why I have decided to create this challenge. I want to allow you to practice honoring your word. Honoring your word to yourself so you give yourself the experiential knowledge of being true to yourself. Now, the Self Achievement Network in itself is not a solution, rather, the purpose is simply designed to be an opportunity for you to either discover, share, or evolve your passion in life. I’ve said that a million times. What is required is for you to show-up, step-up, and step out from the crowd. When you do that, you will be noticed, evaluated, and celebrated as you make progress. And as you all know, stepping out is like stepping out of your comfort zone and the mind sees that as a threat, and what normally happens is that when we feel that fear, we tend to retreat, turn around, do an about-face and justify it by saying “I’m not ready” or “I just need to fix that one thing” etc, etc, etc To get noticed takes courage and act
