GasCast - Bristol Rovers Podcast
Sports:Soccer
Duke is joined by Cazzer and friend of the show, Jake Barber.
The sporty pizza pod club discuss WINS and the development of sexy Garner-ball.
Caz is seriously impressed with Dave Tutonda and Jake has plenty of superlatives for Josh Hare, who have both looked very good on their respective wings.
We are all pleasantly surprised by Daly's first goal for the club and we dissect the whole of the incisive move that came moments after Jaakkola was picking the ball out of his net. A special mention for Josh Grant with his pass out to Hare, but did he mean it though?
There's not much sympathy for Michael Appleton's post-match saltiness, though Duke thinks Ehmer should have conceded a penalty in the first half, but does he care? Does he heck?!
We also look out our latest transfer news with youngsters Mehew, Tomlinson and Phillips being told they can go out on loan, with Tomlinson and Phillips securing moves to Bath City and Chippenham Town respectively. We also see Kyle Bennett move to Grimsby until the end of the season - however there are question marks over the clubs handling of the situation.
We also saw two incomings, both on a permanent basis. Ben Liddle joining from Middlesbrough and then just before we recorded on Tuesday, we got the announcement that Ali Koiki, a LWB, was going to join us. This posed the question, will we see some more players move on?
The team also give us their predictions for the upcoming match against Burton (H).
