WEDNESDAY of the Great Week: THE BIG GULP Matthew 26:1 (Episode #25)

The Big Gulp. Cocking the Trigger. Weds. Mt26:1

Today is Wednesday of the Great Week.  Jesus' last "normal" day.  His last sleep.  Everything is getting ready.  The Disciples are warned that a crucifixion is coming.  Judas gets his betrayal ready.  The Jewish leaders finalize their plan.  

There is no blood...but it is coming
there is no betrayal...but it is coming
There is no crucifixion...but it is coming

In all these things, the trigger is pulled back in readiness.  As an observer to the story my response is the BIG GULP of guilt, of sin, of sorrow, and cringing.
