In a movie most people know either for its twist ending or Haley Joel Osment whispering, "I see dead people," it can be easy to forget about the pitch perfect Toni Collette in "The Sixth Sense." In her only Oscar nominated performance, Collette plays Cole's mother Lynn, a South Philly mom holding down two jobs with ten fabulous fingernails. We have much to say about the infamous Car Scene, as well as the Pop-Tart moment, the birthday party set piece, the "look at my face" routine, THAT LOOK she gives him, and all of that nail acting. Plus: strong feelings on the color palette of "One Fine Day," good moms, Bruce Willis in his prime, a revisit to the Queen of Coventry, a breezy jaunt to Paris via Netflix, a strong recommendation to watch 28 Days, a BSA we love to love, and Diane.
