Inadequate sleep is very common in Australian adults and affects up to 45% of adults.
Females (40%) are more likely than males (26%) to experience difficulty in falling asleep. Nearly half (47%) of women wake often overnight.
Frequent, loud snoring is reported by 24% of men and 17% of women.
Daytime symptoms related to insufficient or un-refreshing sleep, such as sleepiness, fatigue or feeling irritable are common, being seen in 30-39% of adults As we can see sleep is an issue and very common, but what can we do about it?
Instead of going to reach for a sleeping pill which has numerous side effects- let’s look at what nature can offer us!
