Let’s talk about alcohol and its possible interaction with fat gain In many parts of the world, drinking alcoholic beverages is a common feature of social gatherings, however little is known about its effect on weight gain.

It is controversial whether moderate amounts of alcohol represent a risk factor for weight gain - I thought this would be an interesting topic to look into. So I did!
This is why I wanted to look into the connection between alcohol and weight gain if this occurs and how.
