Dr David Unwin is an award-winning physician known for pioneering the LowCarb approach in the U.K. In 2015, he was made a U.K. Royal College of General Practitioners Expert Clinical Advisor and won the NHS Inovater of the Year Award for his work with diabetes patients in 2016. Dr. Unwin was named the ninth most influential general practitioner in the U.K. by G.P. Magazine in 2018. He is also the author of several peer-reviewed papers on the science of LowCarb diets.
