Buffer Zone - Your time to choose when to make the enhancements. Listen to your dialogue. Why are you waiting until Monday? Why are you starting immediately? Either way is perfect yet it is a time to become aware of your thoughts, feelings, meanings, rules, and relationship with certain foods. It may be a time to play full out with food to break that relationship if you have been holding back at all. You choose.
Week 3 ENHANCEMENTS
Drink 8+ Glasses of Water Per Day
Eat a MASSIVE Amount of Fruit on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
Drink your Alkagizer during and/or after eating your fruit.
Drink your Alkagizer (with apples or fruit) only until mid-day (after that you can do the Alkagizer Prime as it does not have fruit in it.)
Increase the amount of veggies that you eat in a day.
Remove refined sugar.
Can I eat agave, maple syrup, stevia, or honey? Natural sweeteners are still ok for this week. IF you have been eating them previously in your diet, you can keep them in. We do not suggest adding them in as a sugar substitute, remember the goal is to be removing the processed/refined sugars to the best of your ability. Natural sweeteners include Agave, Maple Syrup, Honey, and Stevia. We do not recommend adding in processed and/or sugar substitutes at all.
Can I drink protein shakes? For now, protein powders are still ok as long as you have checked the Ingredients List and see that sugars are not added to it, if it is sweetened with natural sweeteners and/or Stevia that is ok for now.
Can I eat potatoes, pasta, and bread? Yes, these items are still allowed as long as sugar is not one of the ingredients. If you are looking for some great alternatives to your normal breads, Ezekiel bread (freezer section of your grocery store usually high-end grocery stores) can be a great option and pumpernickel as well.
What can I expect this week? You may experience some detoxing symptoms, headaches, nausea, dizziness, energy highs and lows, emotional ups, and downs. It is simply the toxins leaving your system and part of the process. Drink extra water, take B12 to assist with headaches, and remember that all of this is you doing what is best for your body and you are going to feel incredible in just a short amount of time!
