In today’s episode Rosie tells a slightly concerning, unusual story. It was a Sunday and the family was on the way to church, but Rosie decided to take the lift, or elevator, in their hotel to get downstairs faster. She had a strong feeling she shouldn’t get on the lift, but did anyway. As the lift began to descend, it suddenly stopped and Rosie found herself stuck in this elevator with Ezra, our 3 month old. Rosie was able to get the inside door open, but all she could see was a cement wall, so they had to get the hotel staff who after much deliberation with technicians over the phone were finally able to get the lift to a level where Rosie and Ezra could be safely extracted from the broken elevator. We then talk about how this experience affected the rest of our day in a surprisingly positive way.

“It made me realize, when I got stuck in the lift, I was like, ‘I can’t believe this is happening.’ But in hindsight, the lift was so powerful. It actually shaped the rest of our day in a positive way.” 16:02
