Jonathan is an educator working across various disciplines in higher, professional and compulsory education. He teaches, and has taught, in several universities, unions, professional bodies, schools and with the medical Royal Colleges as well as workplaces.
His experience and education embraces systems, design and cognitive ergonomics, art and the social and natural sciences. He has particular interests in axiology, human factors, cognition, measurement and decision sciences, as well as blended education and advanced research methods. He is a Reader for the Queen's Anniversary Awards for Further & Higher Education and a Liveryman of the Educator's Company and the Society of Apothecaries.
His current practice focuses on the ways in which new approaches using Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), to create autonomous, regenerative systems at local levels to reduce the need for global supply chains.
