Ep.16, Out of the Bubble. Starting from scratch in the fashion industry after 40. Meet fashion designer Debbie Wilkinson, creator of Fruitbats & Screwballs.
Welcome back to episode 4 with this weeks super talented fashion designer Debbie Wilkinson. Debbie started her fashion brand Fruitbats & Screwballs from scratch in her late forties without having any formal fashion background. Within the first year she was called upon by New York Fashion week and her modern take on the poncho and cape is utterly fabulous. We talk about what keeps her motivated, ageism in the fashion industry and how important following your dreams and passions are what ever your age. I have so much admiration for Debbie and know this won't be the last time our paths will cross.
