WWT #88: Confessional Corner: Confutation 25-28
The last four articles of the Pontifical Confutation of the Augsburg Confession give us some of the Roman Church's most pressing concerns with the Lutheran Reformation. However, we see a great deal of double talk in these articles. By this point in the Confutation, they were only gearing up for their conclusion that the Lutheran elector, princes and cities must submit to the Pope and the Roman Church or else face both the ecclesiastical and secular wrath they would bring down upon Germany.
