Moment of Meditation: Continue in Holiness (1 Timothy 2:15)

But women will be saved through childbearing--
if they continue in faith, love and holiness
with propriety.

Continue in Holiness

Continuing in faith and love we receive holiness. Jesus' holiness and righteousness which hung on the cross for our sins. We receive this as a gift. He takes our sinful stain and gives us the white robe of His righteousness and holiness. The robe that has been washed in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 7:14).

This holiness is a gift to us just like faith and love. Holiness shapes our lives. After we've come to grips with what Jesus has done for us, we have no choice but to change our lives in conformity to His righteousness and holiness. We live in this world as redeemed and forgiven sinners who seek to praise their Creator and Redeemer. Seek to praise Him in your life today. Amen.
